Visitors staying at other resorts are welcome to visit Rhodes Hall Plantation and enjoy its amenities.
Visitor Day Pass--$15 Daily, 9AM - 6PM. A Day Pass includes entry onto the estate, use of the beaches, pool and lounge chairs, and one complimentary Red Stripe or Rum Punch at our Bayview Restaurant. We even provide free pick up and drop off at your Negril or Lucea-area hotel. (Lunch available for additional $15.)
Pizza or Jamaican Special of the Day - Enjoy the best thin-crust pizza on the island or our Jamaican Special of the Day while taking in the view at one of Jamaica's most beautiful old estates. (Pick-up and drop off not included.)
If you're staying at Rhodes Beach Resort Negril and you'd like to schedule other local activities, ask our tour desk to help you arrange a trip to a waterfall, to one of Negril's two golf courses, or to the local water park. With advance notice, we can arrange transportation into town for late-night entertainment at one of its famous reggae shows and get you safely back to your room at the end of the evening.
Transportation is available via local taxi at prevailing rates.

Rhodes Hall is famous for its stable of 70 horses, available for riding daily except Saturday. Ride with our expert horsemen in the hills or along the beach. You can even swim with the horse in the ocean if you wish, an experience you’re sure to remember.
$70 per person - Ride deep into the rugged interior of the estate. See numerous plant and bird species. Finish with a ride along the beach. (Lunch available for $15) (~1 to 1.5 hours)
Rhodes Hall is part of the Negril Watershed Environmental Protection Area, which includes the largest crocodile reserve and mangrove swamp on the northwest coast of Jamaica. It is home to the crocodile, the endangered West Indian Whistling Duck, the Doctor Bird, and dozens of other unique bird, plant, and animal species. Bring your binoculars and camera for a unique photo opportunity.
$25 per person - Guided, walking tour down our unspoiled coastline. Learn about numerous plant, bird, and insect species from our expert guides. Walk through the Mangrove swamp, down to the Crocodile Nursery and adjoining “Crocodile Lake” featuring our unique Floating Viewing Platform. Ask about the mineral spring mud-baths. (~45 min to 1 hour) (Lunch available for $15).
$40 per person - See where the original inhabitants of Jamaica lived over 500 years ago. Explore an authentic, mile-long Arawak Cave. See ancient cave drawings and markings, stalactites, stalagmites, caverns, hidden chambers, an underground subterranean lake, and thousands of Jamaican bats hanging upside down from the limestone caverns. (Lunch available for $15).
Did you know that Jamaica is home to over 160 rare birds, 12 species of which are endangered, including the West Indian Whistling Duck? Sign up for the Mangrove & Crocodile Excursion (above) and bring your binoculars.
$40 per person - Explore our reef without getting wet! Our illuminated glass bottom boat is ideal for viewing the shallow coral formations and marine life in our private bay. Or if you prefer, put on a mask and fins and get a closer look. The equipment and instruction is included. (Lunch available for $15.)
Snorkel all day in the warm shallow waters of our private bay and view dazzling coral formations and marine life just a short swim from the shoreline. A stone's throw from shore is tiny Pelican Island, where you can see small fish and creatures darting in and out of the shadows. All you need is a snorkel mask and some beach shoes, and you're ready to explore. Bring your own snorkeling gear or rent ours for just $5 per day. (Lunch available for $15.)
Wednesday afternoons - Noon-3PM
Every Wednesday afternoon (weather and external circumstance permitting) we host a Pizza Pool Party from Noon until 3PM. We serve a wide variety of great thin crust pizza, Rum Punch, Red Stripe beer, and soft drinks. Enjoy the music and Mineral Spring/Seawater Infinity Style Seaside pool. Sunday Night at the Movies - 8pm - Every Sunday evening you can watch a full length movie at the Bayview Restaurant and enjoy free popcorn during the show. This event is free of charge. Call Bayview for details 1-876-957-6928.

Whether your pleasure is a leisurely cruise in the bay with a rod and reel in one hand and a Red Stripe in the other, or you want to head out past the reef and try your luck at some serious deep sea fishing, the waters off our coast are ideal. Find a quiet place to sun yourself at one of our two private beaches or rest in a lounge chair at our Infinity pool. If you want to pamper yourself, we can provide spa services or massage therapy at an additional cost.

Our gift shop features a variety of necessities, conveniences, souvenirs, and clothes--including the official Rhodes Hall Plantation T-Shirt. Store hours vary, but it is usually open Monday thru Friday 10:00 AM to 4 PM.
For those who like to keep in shape we have a path that circles around the resort, along the beach and up the hill around back down the other side which is great for walking, running or jogging. We also maintain a soccer field and volleyball court.
